Are you a senior embedded software developer eager to work with innovative technologies in a role where you can significantly influence the future of robotic lawn mowers? Then this is the job for you!

Husqvarna’s R&D for Robotics Technology and Advanced Development is in an intensive phase and is currently looking for a senior embedded developer. A robotic lawn mower is a complex autonomous system consisting of software, electronics, and mechanics, offering an exciting opportunity for those driven by technical challenges.

About the Role

This role is best described as a “Robot developer”. You will work with software development for embedded systems, with opportunities to develop everything from drivers to robotic behaviors using advanced algorithms based on computer vision, AI, and sensor fusion. You and your development team will have the responsibility to design and implement new technologies or solutions for our world-leading robots.

About you

If you have extensive experience in- , and love working with C/C++, Python, real time, RTOS, Linux, drivers, sensors, motors and other technologies; then this is a perfect fit for you! We think that you have a strong drive and high motivation and want to make a difference for our customers who deserve the very best! You have good skills in both Swedish and English. Experience in AI and sensor fusion is a plus.

You will be part of a team working together to achieve goals, share knowledge and learn from each other. You will see the results of your own work and of the team in the market leading Husqvarna robotic mower products used by customers globally.

Location and Work Setup

Our team is based in Huskvarna, where we believe in the value of working closely together. While some flexibility exists, we prefer on-site presence, as collaboration is at the heart of how we work.
