At the Product Lab (Residential) for robotic lawn mowers, we are seeking a solution-oriented engineer with a strong passion for product development, investigative work, and testing.

At the Product Lab, we conduct tests on both newly developed products and mowers that are in production.

About the Role

As a Test Engineer, you will perform tests on components and complete products to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as well as Husqvarna’s internal standards. Testing is carried out using various equipment and rigs, as well as in real-world conditions on dedicated grass surfaces.

A key part of the role is to clearly communicate the results, both verbally and through written reports.

Mechanical testing of robotic lawn mowers, software handling, and development of test methods are all part of the position.

About you

You have a solid interest in the following areas:

• Technology (mechanics, electronics)
• Investigative work
• Problem-solving
• Practical and theoretical work

We see it as a strong plus if you have knowledge or interest in one or more of the following areas:

• Experience in design and/or lab work
• Mechanical processing (turning, milling)

To thrive in this role we also see that you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (specialization in mechanics or electronics)

Your profile

You are technically skilled and curious, both theoretically and practically, preferably within electronics and mechanics. You have relevant experience in these areas. You enjoy both theory and hands-on work, and you thrive on solving problems. You are committed, enjoy challenges, and are comfortable with many points of contact both within and outside the company.

You have a background or genuine interest in:

• Technology
• Working both theoretically and practically
• Being a team player with a strong drive to realize projects. Social competence is important.
• Good understanding of physical principles and the ability to see connections between things
• Structure and organization
• Sharing knowledge and discussing solutions
• Viewing systems from the end-user’s perspective and having the curiosity and ability to understand how systems are used

To succeed in this role, we believe you are curious about Husqvarna’s products and how they are built and function. You also have a strong respect for safety when working with the products.

Travel within and outside Sweden may occur. You are fluent in both Swedish and English and speak Swedish effortlessly.
