Department

The Wheeled department has over 50 employees who work with product development, both electric and mechanics. You will be part of a team with 15 colleagues (Wheeled ES). We are expanding and looking for a Embedded Software Engineer with experience in off-road vehicle platforms.

Wheeled develops Ride-on products that contain hybrid solutions and full electric and petrol/diesel solutions for professional Ride-on and Residential Ride-on products. Wheeled will develop a completely new electric platform that will take our professional Ride-on products into the 2030 century. A fully electric, all-day long product for demanding tasks, both autonomous, remote controlled and manually operated.

Job description

We are now looking for an additional team member who want to join our journey with platform development. You will have a key role and the opportunity to work in a hands-on department where we decide how we want to develop our products and functionality. The system will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, BMS, BLDC inverters, HMI, UI, GNSS, Displays, Remote control, autonomous functions and much more.

You will develop and enhance both existing and new products for the system's new platforms. You'll also handle the communication module for our larger riders. In addition to the software team, we have a close collaboration with our hardware team which develops all the hardware in close relation to the product.

Furthermore you will get the opportunity to get an overview and follow entire processes with short decision stages.

Your profile

We believe that you are experienced in working with Embedded Software development and is talented in C/C++ and CAN networks and different protocols. You should also be able to communicate in English and preferably Swedish.

Teamwork and close collaboration with you colleagues both within the department but also around the company is a big part of you work, therefore it is important that you enjoy this kind of set-up and thrive in working together with others to find the best solutions together!
