About the role

As the Manager for Residential Digital Robotics, you will take overarching responsibility for all app development linked to Husqvarna Residential Smart Lawn Care. Reporting directly to the R&D Director, you will be an integral part of the R&D leadership team.

You will lead and coach a talented team of developers based in Huskvarna, Sweden, and in our Mumbai, India office—where you will also have the support of a local manager. Your mission: to ensure our digital solutions are best-in-class, seamlessly integrated with our physical products, and a vital part of our Smart Lawn Care system offering.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire the app development teams (iOS, Android, and Backend) in Huskvarna and together with local manager the team in Mumbai.
• Recruit top-tier talent and coach developers to reach their full potential.
• Drive the development and continuous improvement of digital solutions closely connected to physical products as part of an integrated system.
• Collaborate across functions with technical experts, product owners, and planning roles to deliver robust, customer-centric solutions.
• Ensure the digital experience is a stable cornerstone of our Smart Lawn Care ecosystem.

Your profile

• Senior leadership experience in app development, preferably in areas where app SW, embedded SW and hardware are tightly coupled.
• Proven management skills and a track record of building and coaching high-performing, cross-site development teams.
• Technical knowledge of iOS, Android, and backend systems.
• Strong familiarity working in organizations where digital and physical products form a cohesive system.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience recruiting and developing technical talent in multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
• Comfort working alongside technical experts, product owners, and planning roles to drive innovative solutions.

Location

Our team is based at our site in Huskvarna, where we believe in the value of working closely together. While some flexibility exists, we aim for on-site presence, as collaboration is at the heart of how we work.
